Summary: Sophie and I have stayed overnight in Basel we have stayed at the Basel YMCA which has a cool architectural design throughout It gives the feel of being open and spacious To my knowledge there are only two hostels in Basel Basel YMCA is close to the train station and easy to get to It also gives free tram tickets for the entire day and trip to the airport
