Summary: creative woodsmanship and beautiful designs. It is said that the designs for the entire building was made by none other than Sultan Alauddin himself. There are 15 rooms in Bandar Palace. For 35 years have Sultan Alauddin resided at this palace, until his death in 1938. Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, the last Sultan of Selangor, was born at this palace.
