Are there any free online home design tools that work like the Sims games? I played the Sims for years...only to creates houses on it. I'm looking for a free online home design tool. I found some that come close, but aren't what I'm looking for. I want one that will create a roof for me, let me design the interior, exterior...etc. Not just blue prints and layout software.

Looking to find a really good, well designed and challenging PC game like a CSI or Law & Order. Any ideas? I have looked on line at some of the reviews of the CSI games and those people didn't find the games very challenging. Some found them boring or slow moving. Does anyone know of games of this type (they do not HAVE to be CSI or Law & Order but I do enjoy that type of investigative game). Also it doesn't have to be an online game, free or not. If you know of some on line that's great. I am also looking for something to buy from the store and bring home. I have a birthday coming up and my hubby will be wanting to know something to get me. Aside from Taylor Hick's new CD, I am going to ask for some fun games that I can obsess on at night after the kids go to sleep. I've done the things like Max Payne...and Myst...which I liked Max Payne but got bored with Myst. My other concern was about the replayability. I want to be able to play with this over and over. Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 for Christmas 2009? Frankly, that's about all there is to this question. Unlike other this versus that arguments, there is really no definitive winner in this situation. It is tearing me apart to not be able to make an easy decision!!! My first game console was a Sega Genesis years ago. I upgraded to the Sony PlayStation when it was released and later to the PlayStation 2, the console I still own to this day. I enjoyed having the undeniable winner of that generation of consoles. However, I have fallen out of touch with gaming and my PS2 collects dust. On a related note, my family as a whole does own a Wii (I know I'm becoming pathetic). I've recently decided to get back into gaming and am having the hardest time of my life deciding on whether to get the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3. Overall, I like the Xbox 360. I think the menu system is very user-friendly, colorful, and intuitive. I like the fact that you can do so much with Xbox Live (Netflix, Facebook, Twitter, Last.fm, Zune, online gaming) and how it is such a large inclusive community. I am interested in the games for the system including Halo 3 and Left 4 Dead 2. However, I am concerned about a few things. The fact that I would either be getting the Elite or the Modern Warfare 2 Limited Edition Elite has reassured me that I won't be having RROD problems, but I'm worried that Xbox exclusives may fall behind PS3 ones. Non-exclusives thus far tend to have better graphics for the Xbox as it is easier to develop for and then just port down to the PS3 without talking full potential of its graphics power. However, PS3 exclusives today blow anything that could ever be released for the Xbox out of the water. On the other hand, Project Natal (the future of the Xbox 360) is much more intriguing than PS3's future "wand." Also, the fact that I would ultimately end up paying for Live (I know it's supposed to be better than PSN but still), a WiFi adapter, and deal with the hassle of controller batteries turns me off to the Xbox and makes me feel as if the price tag is misleading. With the PlayStation, it has some awesome new exclusives like Uncharted 2 as well as the cross-platform games like COD:MW2. The graphics potential is greater. With the new design and price, I think no one would deny that now is a better time than ever to buy a PS3. However, XMB bores me and seemingly has less features than the new 360 Dashboard. The fact that PSN is free and can or will do anything that XBL can do intrigues me as well as the concept of Home. With Blu-ray becoming an increasingly prevalent and one day dominant format, I fear that an Xbox would only prolong my DVD days and would leave me left out when Blu-ray dominates or leave me with some junky, overpriced accessory. While the PS3 can do many things, I somehow feel like the Xbox software features are more useful, more likely to be used, and easier to use. Then again the fact that the PS3 has little to no lag while the Xbox loads everything is also a concern... I am more familiar with PlayStation. Ugh. With games, features, and friends drawing me to both sides, I'm stuck in the worst dilemma with limited time left to decide (if I plan to ever have a chance of getting the MW2 Xbox). Please! Someone help me! Give me some rationale one way or the other without fanboyism. I want to make the right choice and can't afford a mistake. To anyone that legitimately helps me, thank you so much!

The day's events soared through her mind, slowly and carefully, as she had time to remember the day: school had been just as uneventful as ever, with boring lessons and crumpled notes being passed around. After school, Laurie went to the mall with Ashlee Parker, her best friend, and Jenny Kole, her other best friend. They shopped for accessories, or as Jenny called them, "extra trash to bring home." Jenny was obviously not a shopaholic, unlike Ashlee and Laurie. School had just started a week ago, but it felt like a year, so obviously after a year of school you buy things--atleast in their world. This rarely happened, but when it did (last time being six months ago), it didn't turn on for atleast a few days. "I have nothing to do! Turn on! Stupid connection," she muttered. Which laptop should I chose for college and some gaming, why? First I want to say is that I should be getting a laptop soon by January 2009. I will have only $1,700 in the bank by the 3rd of January. I hopefully will be starting college by then. I would preferably like to spend less than $1,000 for the laptop itself. I will only buy HP because I have experience with them and I like what they have to offer. Also they are at least the top if not #2 rank in high reviews for computers. As for their customer service it is decent. I use computers manly to surf the internet, do research, edit photos, word processor documents, downloads off the internet, Quicken for my finances, I tend to pull up multiple applications and multi task while online, regular instant messaging (IM) and as far as games go all I play at the moment is Flight Simulator X (FSX) besides the occasional online games on the internet like pop it (pogo.com). So you'd like to... know why the xbox 360 rules all consoles? Come on, Sony fanboys, lighten up and hear me out before you fumble for that "NO" button. I'm sorry that you spent $600+ to play the most powerful gaming system known to man only to find out that there were almost no games worth playing and the ones they do have are as good on the 360. PS3 is still a sweet Blu-ray player, no? So here's the guide: The current gen console wars are history and the next-gen craze is front and center with sky-rocketing prices and awesome new games and features coming out of the woodwork. Sadly, if you're anything like me, you have but a modest budget and tight time constraints on your free time and only have the time and money for one next-gen console. The choices are: 1) Microsoft's awesome Xbox 360 Console Includes 20GB Hard Drive with it's unbeatable live play, slough of incredible original games, and a proven dependable interface, 2) The superpowered, blu-ray technology sporting, hyper-expensive PlayStation 3 (60GB); the gaming juggernaut with an endless supply of Japanese 3rd party support and perfect backwards-compatibility, and 3) the moderately priced Wii which looks to change the way games are played with it's revolutionary motion-sensitive controller, allowing you control you onscreen action using the motions of your hands, and featuring downloadable games dating from the NES all the way to the N64 era. Nice. So which to get? If the title of this guide didn't tell you, I'll tell you straight-up that I'm down with Microsoft on this one. I'm not some fanboy; I've floated between all three of these gaming giants in my years since my mama bought me the Atari 2600 and I believe they all offer something fantastic. Nintendo has and always will excel at family-friendly gaming and simple, pick-up-and-play party games at a good price and is highly recommended as a console for children or nostalgia buffs. But I'm neither of those. The best Nintendo series, which have great games including Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl that are top-notch and fun for all. But they don't carry the whole system for me (though Red Steel also looks promising). Sony's Playstation systems have been the king of the hill as far as sales go, and continue to dominate Japan and America alike with their always impressive list of RPG's and other quirky Japanese funfests. A great choice if you have limitless time and money to buy and play the neverending catalogue of cookie-cutter games mixed in with the handful of premium PS2 franchises such as Final Fantasy XII, Kingdom Hearts II, and the fighting series, Tekken 5. The PS3 itself has stumbled out the gate, promising far more than it has delivered with middling titles like Resistance: Fall Of Man and games that are already available on the 360 and look and play no better. The interface is little more than a carbon copy of the Xbox's tried and true menu system with promises (always with the promises) of a "Second Life"-style friends' lounge coming up. Let's not mention the disgraceful behavior of Sony's supporters on launch day as customers physical fought each other for the few consoles that Sony had available to sell. Oops, I just mentioned it! I miss my Zelda and my Final Fantasy, but the Xbox Core Console USM simply rocked my world when it came out. Microsoft took the classic home console and changed it forever, essentially transforming it into a specialized PC designed just for gamers. Featuring original, groundbreaking franchises like Halo: Combat Evolved and Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, while bringing in great PC ports like Elder Scrolls: Morrowind (Game of the Year) and allowing you to download music onto to your xbox and program it like a jukebox or ipod with independent playlists on your television (you could even put customized soundtracks into some games!), Microsoft pulled me away from Sony's RPG paradise. The Xbox Live service is a smashing success and was/is probably the single-biggest draw of the system. Finally, console gamers had a comprehensive, easy to use service that allowed them to crush strangers and friends alike in spirited multi-player battles and wars, meeting new people all along the way through live voice chatting. Last time around, Microsoft was the new kid on the block, coming late to the game with something to prove. This time, the xbox 360 was first out of the gate by a mile with a price tag that puts it right smack in the middle between the cheaper, kid-friendly Wii and the ridiculously pricey PS3. With great franchises new and old like Dead or Alive 4, Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion, the smash-hit Gears Of War, zombie horror-fest Dead Rising, and the promise of Grand Theft Auto and Resident Evil on the horizon Sony is losing ground fast in the quality franchise department and has shown us very little in return so far, though they have maintained their "We're Sony, bee-yatches. We'll do what we want and you'll buy it!" attitude towards their fans even as they struggle to catch up to the Wii and 360 by attempting to copy them while dismissing them as "last-gen". And let us not forget Microsoft's unstoppable Halo 3; an ace in the hole if ever there was one. The 360 is constantly catering to the most loyal gamers, 20-somethings with some -but not limitless- disposable income and no time to waste on endless throw-away games or kids' stuff. Xbox live has only gotten better with downloadable arcade games (including Street Fighter 2),upcoming game and movie trailers, hi-definition online movie rentals, dozens of television shows available for purchase, free playable demos for current and upcoming games, and a fantastic online gamer community. Nintendo and Sony both have a lot to prove if they hope to ever even compete with Microsoft online. The xbox 360 now allows you to play every single game on the system with any custom soundtrack you can dream up. Good God, that is awesome. It will interface with everything from your ipod or PC, to a USB keyboard usable for future MMORPG's and the current PS2 port Final Fantasy XI: Chains of Promathia, Rise Of The Zilart, Treasures of Aht Urhgan. To compete with the PS3's blu-ray compatibility, Microsoft gives us the Xbox 360 HD DVD Player which gives you the OPTION of upgrading to a new DVD format rather than Sony's built-in cost that you pay for whether you want blu-ray technology or not. After all, there is a format war going on and either HD-DVD or blu-ray (or even both) may become the next Betamax or minidisc in the future. All of this is just one gamer's opinion and I think I've made some good points without being too biased. After all, I'm an old-time Nintendo and Playstation fan myself. Nintendo has more than held it's own with it's mainstream innovations and stranglehold on the handheld market, but Sony hasn't fared so well and disgruntled fanboys must deal with the fact that the xbox 360 kicks major tail on all fronts. The 360 has almost all of the best games and console exclusives (though not as many recognizable characters as Nintendo), the coolest interface and features (though without the PS3's raw power) so far in a home system, and all at a medium price (cheaper than PS3, more expensive than the Wii). Mark the Mac book pro as a very good Computer, better than a PC. 2.Macs Run windows to! On a Macbook Pro I Can Run Windows as well as Mac OS X through Boot Camp. So in way I will get the best of both worlds I can run Mac OS X for internet and video editing and music editing, then I can run Windows Vista for Games, Office, and Windows Exclusive programs I might need. 3.I Know How to Use Macs. I can use a Mac much better than a PC. I was taught how to use them in elementary school. Right down to how to use all of the Mac office programs. 4.No Viruses! Mine looked brand spanking new. Very fast, the battery does last only 1 1/2 hours, but I got an extra battery for $65 on eBay used and it works nicely. Came with Vista, but I put WinXP on mine and found all the drivers on the internet. The construction is very sturdy hard plastic, none of the cheap flimsy stuff. My only problem was when I allowed Norton Internet Security to load (60 day trial)and then brought up the internet, half way through loading, the system locked up. The only way to free it up was to manualy power down. I unistalled Norton and installed AVG Free. NO more problems !!!! This is a very fast easy to use laptop with all the bells and whistles. VERY HAPPY REVIEW BY: fraqtured Reviewed Aug 06, 2008 i bought the T1625 which is essentially the same specs as this, and wanted to input the impression i drew from the t1625. first off, great price, amazing features, and with a laptop cooler running $40 dollars for a middle of the road model, this laptop will run cool [the only complaint i have found on these was the heat] and you will have picked yourself up a top with features running in some cases nearly twice as much in price of a non refurbs, which will only be the refurbs of tomorrow. run all the updates through gateway, and do a clean reinstall and pertition reformat when you unpack, it, it will take a little bit of time, but will point you in a much faster direction. this laptop is highly recomended in my opinion. The Turion 64 dualcore processor and the 2GB of RAM make short work of everything I throw at it; I have Pidgin (my IM client), Firefox (with 3 tabs open, including YouTube), LimeWire, and uTorrent all running at the same time and there is absolutely no slowdown whatsoever. My only gripes are that it gets a little bit hot when charging, and the battery only lasts for an hour and a half; I can deal with heat and the battery can be easily upgraded. The only thing you have to worry about with refurbished products is the look, not performance; Mine came with a small scratch in the top of the case, but performs like a champ. If you don't mind some minor cosmetic flaws, I'd definitely recommend this computer to anyone on a budget, especially at this price! Tuesday, July 08, 2008 Jezebel's Finest Hour Part 2 - Effiminate Nation The Jezebel spirit is a strong spirit when operating through a woman. You have seen the examples of Juanita Bynum and Paula White, all poised to dilute the gospel of peace and wreak havoc upon the body of Christ. This spirit tears up churches, emasculates and seduces men of god into webs of deceit and sexual bondage. I'm sure you have noticed how these women confessed of their early life molestations and rapes, and entered the scene looking modest and submissive. They all seemed to start out humble and spiritual. But then, once the money poured in and their influence grew, they went for the gold. Makeup galore, face lifts, body toning and plastic surgery. Getting fit and trim enough to leave their husbands only to begin showing off their new (offering and tithe purchased) bodies, showing the world their independent sexiness. The modest look no longer was necessary because thousands of women were hooked. Now they could weave their web of deceit even thicker by moving from God's girls to worldly women. But what happens when the Jezebel spirit occupies a man? What happens when this seducing spirit entices men through a man? I know that sounds crazy, but we have this happening right now before our eyes. Yes, Bishop TD Jakes is the dawning of a new era of men that possess a seducing spirit meant to entice men of God into a web of deceit and sexual submission. How, you may ask? Well, unless you are from Mars you had to have picked up on a serious "effeminate friendly" spirit on this man. And unless you just flew in from Pluto, you know that he has most black preachers and pastors that wanna be something in his world submitting to his money and power. He has single handedly turned the act of preaching into the art of pimping. Preaching damnable heresies and false doctrine, while bumping elbows with the Luciferian elite and Hollywood's iconic celebrity stars. Now, preachers are seeking what Jakes has. They want the money, the fame, the access to the stars, the television, the movies, the parties and elite celebrations. They want access to Oprah and Dr. Phil. They want mega churches and super conferences. They want secular and sacred mixtures to draw the masses and water down the message. They want a television audience without even drawing their own communities to their churches. They have been seduced, but the bitter end is coming early for many of them. They are falling like flies. They are getting caught with their pants down literally! They are being set up to fall and the Devil is laughing while he preserves his "queen" and keeps her spirit safe in the body of a cunning leader. While his family is tormented by internet rumors, while his spiritual children are tormented by divorce and immoral exposures, and while his church congregation is plagued with homosexual and lesbian spirits, he continues to lift himself up and use every avenue possible for a financial exchange. Even TD Jakes bibles studies in his churches are costly. Everything is for sale and nothing is free. Charging upwards of 50,000 dollars to come to your event and then charging admission at the door as well as several offerings tells us that this is a money thing. But even further investigations tells us of a spirit that lies deep within. A sexually seducing spirit that comes to seduce men into allegiances with him for gain and earthly glory. Shouldn't a bishop be an example of a Godly leader to the church and the world? Then why is the very world that TD Jakes is suppose to be winning, outing him all over the internet for having an earring removed from his own pictures after he wore it at his daughters wedding? Yes, the world is wondering why his sons are wearing dreads and earrings and his daughter is sporting a tattoo on her back? You see, even the secular media feels that a Bishop should be a role model and have a family that reflects his teaching and morality. From Media Takeout to the Hick Town Press, the secular online media is eating this up and exposing these things at random. But at least we can give the world credit for believing in the bible's definition of a Bishop more than most modern day church folks.. According to scripture a Bishop should have his children under all gravity of his words and he himself should be blameless right? Well, an earring wearing bishop that is close friends with a drag queen doesn't sound like a blame free situation! What kind of straight man hangs around drag queens? Tyler Perry is a drag queen just like Rue Paul. There is no difference. They both wear women's clothes and entertain as women. That is the definition of a drag queen. What is a bishop doing being very close friends with a man that cross dresses? Now, if you are not pentecostal or do not believe in holiness or hell, then this article might upset you or even cause you to see this as touching God's anointed. But you that believe holiness is a way of living and that God is not pleased with the mixture of the world and the church will understand why this blog is necessary. It's about time someone said what the Holy people of God need to hear! That's the way I feel. I am just a man of God expressing his true love for holiness and righteousness. Sure, no one is perfect and we all have sinned. Sure some preachers have difficulty with their children and many have made errors in judgment. But I'm not talking about those things. I'm talking about a man who is high and lifted up as the example for the modern day black Bishop! The man that has defended piercing his ears and mixing with the world. The man that has encouraged pastors to seek money, fame, and power at the expense of Holiness and God's way! The man that has made it okay to deny the savior for a greater audience. The man that has captivated many former holiness believers and turned them into carnal crusaders! Okay, now for the history of the earring on a male. In the bible days, it was a symbol of slavery. Slaves were tagged on their ears for identification and ownership. Later, in the Egyptian culture, the mark of 2 earrings or multiple piercings on a male represented bi-sexuality and whoreish behavior. And all the great kings and leaders of Godless civilizations that were lascivious in behavior wore them as this symbol. In the early 70's pimps started wearing 1 earring in the black community as a symbol of slavery to sex. It meant that you were a player and enjoyed multiple sex partners. It was called Macho from the term Machismo which means excessive male or extreme male. This is what the single earring meant and still means. 2 earrings on a man was, and in most cases still is, a symbol of bi-sexuality. And now, since our young black boys are emasculated and becoming very effeminate because of the lack of fathers in the home, the 2 earrings are taking their age old meaning once again. How dare a pentecostal Bishop wear a symbol of macho or "slave to sex"? He is the model and now the weak pastors that have embraced his beliefs will begin to wear these things. God forbid! Don't forget the spirit of these things are still following these ritualistic acts of defiance. Did we forget about the spirit realm? As if the black race needs another bad role model. And his sons and now son in law wear 2 earrings?? Lord help us! But Jakes can get away with this. He has gotten away with false teachings before and all the folks that left their pastors that they could touch for a man they will never meet have bought into this. He can teach whatever and they will listen! For example, He has accused Naomi and Ruth in book of Esther of having a relationship that "bordered lesbianism". He has said it's "understandable" for a man to have affections for other men because when God made man, women was inside of him?" He has promoted every homosexual gospel singer in the industry and has even presented a lifetime achievement award to Bobby Jones? Every since the very first Megafest conference, I have been warning the body of Christ of where this was going. Any man that will invite false god worshipers like India Arie or Will Smith to take the stage at a pentecostal type conference is not God lead. Let's not even mention what went on in the men's restrooms and the alley ways of Hot-lanta, the mecca for homosexual church goers! Let's call it what it is people. No more games. No more closed eyes. No more foolishness. Jakes has lead an effeminate movement and cause sexually confused men to be labeled "hemotional" rather than homosexual! Through basic semantics, he has turned the men into the weaker vessel and made the women the "leading ladies". He preaches to women in 3rd person using the words "we" and "us" when speaking of women in distress or women with purpose. And yet pastors have sent their members to his conferences with their blessing and they have campaigned to be on his platform no matter what it costs them. He is looked upon by the church as an icon, but looked upon by the world as a money making worldly partner. Jakes has also began denying that Christ is the ONLY way to Heaven by stating that the “Other sheep that are not of this fold” are other religions or beliefs and saying that he cannot rule out an inclusive rapture of the saints of God, leaving it open for others that may not believe in Jesus? His exact quote to a Muslim's question as to whether only Christians go to Heaven: "When it comes to Heaven, I try to leave that up to God. I certainly believe that Christianity is right, but when it comes down to the final test--who goes and who doesn't go--Jesus said, Other sheep have I who are not of this fold. Them also must I bring. I'll let Him identify who those sheep are and I stay out of the conversation." This is truly the finest hour for the spirit of Jezebel. This time she has promoted a man that allows her to seduce other men to follow his way and ignore God's law of holiness and righteousness. A man that can buy a 5000 seat building in Texas and fill it up the first Sunday with no evangelism whatsoever, has a spirit on him and it's not the spirit of God. Those people that filled that church were from other churches and drawn by the spirit of Jezebel and seduced into an emotional temple that is now plagued with homosexuals and perverts. As the television drew the crowds and the star struck people were lead in blindly, the spirit of Jezebel had an agenda all along. To make the gospel second to the show and to cause people to not hear but to feel. Now, what do we have people of God? A nation of carnal believers lead by the spirit of a women, working through a man. I can now understand how Tyler Perry is one of his closest friends because they are one in the same. There is a woman's role that Jakes loves to play and that is the role of Jezebel. 1Cor. 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?
