Do I need planning permission for a very large summer house/cabin please? I have a small bit of land to the side of my property and wish to erect a large summer house or cabin. I just wondered whether I would need planning consent or not. Just to complicate matters my cottage is listed and someone said because of that I would need permission if it was within a certain distance from the cottage. Thank you
