Star Wars the Clone Wars 3d models in 3ds Max Studio? Anyone know if it's possible to somehow get any Star wars: The Clone Wars characters like Anakin/Padme into 3ds Max Studio? :)

Where to find 3d models of the the ships and people in the Clone Wars tv show? I'm making a little 3d animation for a school project in 3ds max or maya (I have both) and I want to do a Star Wars the Clone Wars Short so I am wandering is there a website where people either leaked or replicated the models used in the show. What computer program did Star Wars use? What computer program(s) did star wars use to design ships and Droids for the movie? How would you make a 3D model of the Aztec city Tenochtitlan? My class has to make a model of a scene from the history of Mexico, and I want to make a model of lake Texcoco with causeways, mountains, and the island city of Tenochtitlan (including the small villages around the lake. I was thinking of using blue Play-doh as water, and star wars monopoly pieces as buildings, but what can I use for the cities, causeways and chimpanas (or whatever the farms were called)? does any one know a way to port models from sc2 to wc3? I am trying to 'port' a 3d star craft 2 model to war craft 3. What i need help with is getting from m3 to mdx. I have been able to but with just the mesh, nothing beyond that I keep getting errors. The tool I am using is 3ds max 2010 the exporter is giving me an error and i have no idea where to begin with fixing it. Since my issue is mainly with MAXScript I think programming is relatively appropriate. The error I am getting is MAXScript Rollout Handler Exception --Runtime error: Cannot get mesh from this object: Attachment and it highlights the following line of code. geos[ngeos].pvtx.crns = 3*selection[i].mesh.numfgeos[ngeos].pnts.no = selection[i].mesh.numverts

Where can I find the absolute BEST 3D world creation software for PC? Don't laugh: I am modeling the entire Star Wars Galaxy. Don't doubt: I have expertise and enough free time to build my own Death Star. Help is welcome! I need the best 3D world creation software. I can program in at least 10 different programming languages and can Work a computer like magic. I am the (self proclaimed, of course) biggest star wars fan ever. I need a piece of software that will work on a PC that can enable me to create massive 3D worlds. Please, no comments like "Its impossible", or "I like star wars more" or "go kill yourself idiot". Can this laptop be used for casual gaming? By casual, I mean The Sims 3, along with older games such as Star Wars: Empire at War. Mostly low graphic games. Need help finding a good laptop? I was looking at the Alienware M11X, but I really don't want to spend too much. I also know I could probably get a better laptop for the same price, since it is a netbook. My primary uses would be 3D Modeling(Blender), 2D Texturing(GIMP), game programming(Visual Studio, XNA Game Studio), and casual gaming(The Sims 3, Star Wars: KotOR). I want something that I will be able to use for 3 years until I go to college. I would prefer Windows 7, but I will be running Ubuntu along side it. Budget- $600 (preferably) Up to $900 It needs to also have a decent battery life!

I would like to know the legality of making my own KOTOR 3 RPG...? I was greatly disappointed when Star Wars TOR (The new KOTOR MMORPG) was announced, as I have never liked MMORPG's very much. I have been contemplating creating a KOTOR 3 of my own, which would not be very hard to do, really. I am looking at buying 3D Game Studio and using it to make the game. The game would be free (of course, as it is a fan-made game) and I would make no money out of it at all. It would use the characters from KOTOR and KOTOR 2, follow the storyline etc, but the models, sounds etc. would be different. I would probably use some of the locations from KOTOR and KOTOR 2 (such as the Ebon Hawk or Dantooine), and would use the maps and designs (but not the models themselves) from the original games. I would like to know if it is legal to do this, and, if so, if anyone is interested in helping out with writing the script, it would be greatly appreciated, as we all know how good (and long) the KOTOR and KOTOR 2 scripts are. My ps3 seems to play blu ray on my pansonic tc-p42st30 like normal dvd? HELP!? okay so yesterday I got a 2011 Panasonic tc-p42st30 from best buy ( 42inch1080p 600hz 3d smart TV plasma) all for the purpose to watch bangging blu ray. when I got home I hooked it all up correctly to my ps3 (fat model) and optimized the settings to the best for blu ray [Cinema Conversion: Automatic] [Upscale: Normal] [BD/DVD Video Output Format (HDMI): Automatic] [BD 1080p 24Hz output (HDMI): Off (for most HDTVs)] [Cross Color Reduction Filter: Off] [RGB Full Range (HDMI): Limited] [Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr Super-White (HDMI): On] and put in star wars on blu ray and I could see some difference here And their but it mostly seems like it just plays like a DVD instead of blu ray in a store, though it was just star wars so I poped in star trak [one of the best on blu ray] and seemed the same. my HDMI wire is 5 years old from Sam's club [gold platted]. not sure if it's the HDMI wire it self, idk what it is I'm Doing wroung honestly I've lost sleep about it cause it wasn't a cheap TV for me. so PLEASE HELP ME!!! Building new gaming computer and looking for advice!!! :D? So I am building a new computer this Christmas, the games I'm looking forward to are Star Wars: TOR, BF3, Skyrim, Bioshock Infinite, and whatever else may come along. I am just curious what people think of my choices so far and is there anything that is lacking, needs replacing, or anything that is just unnecessary. I wish to be able to run great frame rates on a high resolution at Ultra settings. Is my soundcard going to do anything for me and my Tritton Ax 720s? Is my PSU going to cover me? What do you think is a good value for a broken PS3 and these Gamecube games? I have a Playstation 3 80 GB model that gets the "Red Screen of Death" everytime that it is turned on.
