Who is better architect Zaha Hadid, Norman Foster or Santiago Calatrava? Why? I wanna know this because a lot of people say that Zaha Hadid is better. But I don't think so too much because Norman Foster relates so good cultures and architecture. Sometimes, Zaha Hadid and Calatrava are like always the same. You see that they use the same type of buildings and they don't realize about culture. You see Norman Foster buildings in Dubai are really different compared to other in UK. The problem is that they are big containers to which it is difficult to give them a use. Architecture Project help? Hey, I am currently in my last year of Secondary School and am attempting an Advanced Higher Architecture project. I need to come up with research examples into my project, how my own ideas develop and possibly multiple outcomes. I am designing a main office headquarters for a major oil company to be situated in Aberdeen (Hypothetically obviously). I have been struggling however to gather more research. My own design is going to be a modern building and my two major architects for influence have been Norman Foster and Richard Rogers. I really need some further examples of existing buildings that have the same purpose as mine (Offices, preferably for a company in the oil industry) however that have interesting architectural properties. Could anyone give me any suggestions? Also any tips at all for my project generally would me much appreciated. Thanks to all who reply :)

Designing Hogwarts ( Harry Potter )? Hi, The reason why i'm asking this is so if anyone wants to be part of the designing of the magical Harry Potter school Hogwarts . It would be designed and made but i'm asking this for anyone who could help with a floor plan. I'm an architect, I mainly help do skyscrapers and most of my work is for Sir Norman Foster as i've been his assistant designer on four occasions including work on Wembley Stadium. I studied for a year at Oxford before moving to Yale School of Architecture to do my degree. I recently got recommended to do work on scenes in Harry Potter and the Half Blooded Prince and was the joint Head Designer with the more experienced Peter Reid. I've always loved Harry Potter and after reading the first book when I was 12 i've loved the whole series and read it over and over. I recently after discussion with several key people n the Harry Potter series and a number of web designers decided it would be a good idea to design the floors plan of Hogwarts. As Hogwarts is always changing ( known as the massive castle with crowded corridors ) and all these facts changed from the last I decided it would be a good idea to design Hogwarts. I then moved onto to see the competition and apart from one relatively good plan of the grounds http://www.hp-lexicon.org/atlas/hogwarts/atlas-h.html there's no proper realistic attempt to map Hogwarts which is one of the reasons i'm taking on the challenge.
