  1. I would keep your walls a solid white and then above the bed or even just around the border of the ceiling do a staggering pattern of circles in different sizes in that orange and turquiose color. It will make it pop and bring together the bed.
  2. good answer hsmommy . . . You might also consider round orange hanging lights, like japanese lanterns, over the bed You can look at IKEA, Target, Cost Plus, Pier One or these on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/4-Japanese-Style-Red-Round-Paper-Lanterns-Like-New_W0QQitemZ270227629146QQihZ017QQcategoryZ42156QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Good luck! Great color to work with!
  3. My suggestion is to paint the walls a paler version of that blue. It will counter all the bright orange. Or you could go stark white on the walls which will give it a mod look. I don't think I'd introduce another color because what you have is great.
  4. Antique white or Dover white would go fine with this, window treatment is very important just as the type of lighting ,daylight type lighting will make this room alive even on the rainiest day,and congrats on your planning.
  5. I would go with a light light aqua. That way when you change your bedding you'll still have lots of choices. Good luck with your new arrangements.
  6. you should play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours: http://sherlink.sherwin.com/swapp/color_visualizer/index.jsp I would so do a green with that bedding set - like "hep green" (# 6704).
  7. Stop calling it interior design. This is interior decorating. TV has soiled the good name of the real interior design profession. Anyhow paint it white. It looks good with white walls. Try choosing a focal wall and painting it one color. Maybe contrasting to orange like navy blue or gray.
