What is a Good School for an Undergraduate Interior Design program in New York City?

I posted something like this before, but I would like to see more options. I am a junior in high school and I am trying to desperately find good schools for interior design. I'm thinking of enrolling in an Undergraduate program. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations for a school? I would REALLY appreciate your answers.

2. New York City is the capital of Interior Design so picking a school would most likely be based on how much you want to pay for the degree. The best school in NYC is going to be the Pratt Institute. If I thought I could live in NYC, this is where I would go. In addition, there is the Fashion Institute of Technology, School of Visual Arts, New York School of Interior Design, and the New York Institute of Technology. The only public school is the Fashion Institute. Outside of NYC, Cornell University would be an excellent choice, however, it is in the Ivy League and it's on the expensive side, but it's one of the top 5 schools of interior design in the country. And lastly, there is Syracuse University. If you venture out of New York, the next place to study interior design would be Chicago and then San Francisco. The Academy of Art University in San Francisco is said to be wonderful. Since you are a junior, I would highly recommend that you work on a portfolio because I think most of the schools in NYC, even the ones that I omitted, require this for admissions.
