What is the best school for interior design? Is there any place I can begin learning while still in school?

I am in high school and really would like to be an interior designer but I am not sure where to look for the best schools to go to for my degree. I also would like to begin learning about it to prepare me but not actually be in a college. It would be tons of help if you have any answers. Thanks.

I don't know about what is best but 2 very good design schools in NYC that have interior design are Pratt and Parsons Pratt has a summer pre-college program that is very helpful for giving you a taste of what doing interior design would be like Checkout any art schools local to you. Often they offer classes for high school students. You should work on putting together a portofilo beause to apply to an art school you will need one. Diffrent schools have diffrent requirements. But def doument any design work you do for it as you go along There is a yearly event called national portfolio day in the us Art schools from all over come to the event in many dif cities and it's a good way to look at diffrent schools and get feedback on your portfolio/get advice on what to put in it.
