Architectural Designs

I need some advice on a design (link in details)?

http://www.designmyroom.com/projects/Design.aspx?ID=728206 I'm designing a living room for my best friend's mom. She wants to base it around Van Gogh's "Starry Night" painting with a semi-modern style. This design I'm working on is basically colors, flooring, and basic furniture and accent ideas. Any suggestions on how to make it better? This is my first time putting any designs to work, and doing this will look good in a portfolio for college (to study Interior Design). Any advice from a professional would be greatly appreciated. NEW LINK Sorry to those who tried to go to the other page: http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg318/e_fergerson/VanGoghLivingRoom.jpg This one works. 1. Says I cannot get in it's private. You might want to change that.
  2. Don't put a break between your ceiling and wall so that your room would look like your looking at the dark sky. Use small lights to to represent stars. don't put anything heavy on the ceiling. The goal is to create a dark sky.
  3. Lose the tiny coffee table. You need something big with a Starry Night statement. How about a mural or some stencil drawing on the wall to the left - opposite from the actual painting. Just some swirls in the colors from the painting. Look up FRACTALS on the web. There are some cool designs. Paint the etagere glossy black, and try to get a light in there.
