Does anyone out there have an online interior design business?

I'm curious about starting one, to run from my home, but not sure if it would work. I am a professional designer, but work for someone else currently. Have done work via email for several clients. For designers - is this something you have done? Did it work? Generate any income? For potential clients - would you hire an online designer for an "E-Consultation" for your home or office? I need to know if there is a market for this type of thing. Thanks!

1. personally i would want them to come my home and just that. if it's someone dealing with doing anything with my house, and id want them in my house unless they are going by an hourly rate. if you bid your services, i'd want you there. even if they sent you pictures, its hard to get a spacial aspect of things. but what do i know? haha. i wish i would have gone through with going to school for interior design. i had planned on it. now i just get my fix with selling home decor.
