How do we convince them that it looks like crap???

My bosses at work have rotten taste, I mean ROTTEN. They just bought a beautiful new building for us to relocate to nearby and it was previously an interior/home design studio (so you can imagine the beautiful arcitecture and design on the interior). They plan on using out current old ass desks, huge, dented filing cabinets and pretty much nothing matches. All of us girls have been trying to help make suggestions on how to place things in order for this place to flow and the more we suggest to more rediculous their ideas become. It looks like a huge garage sale in our beautiful new office! Help!

1. So what? Do your job and get a check. Many people don't have jobs.
2. Hey, they are the bosses. They pay your salary. Unless the situation is so bad that you can no longer work there, your best option is to continue making gentle and reasonable suggestions. Try presenting your suggestions in a way that they can see the benefit.s...like: " Painting the walls of the lobby a bright color will really give a cheerful feeling to our customers - and we all want happy customers, don't we? " " having elegant furniture in the customer areas will show that you value their presence and their business, resulting in more revenue." " If you let employees have new and better desks, you will raise morale, make for a happier work environment, and likely increase productivity. " I'm sure you can come up with such "features & benefits" statements from among the staff.... and good luck!
3. You need to change your attitude. Focus on doing a good job and being cheerful and positive. If you have to have an outlet for your decorating skills - buy a new bedspread for your bedroom.
