where can I find job outlook for different type of jobs like interior design?

I am beginning college and I will plan to work in the D.C. area. But I need to know the job outlook for interior design or ultrasound technician. I dont want to waste time on this major if its something that is hard to be sucessful in or the job outlook is scarce. Please help! thank you.

2. http://www.bls.gov/search/ooh.asp?ct=OOH Go to that website. It list practically every career imaginable. I have used it several times. It gives you a description of the job, other jobs similar, what kind of education you need, the average salary, and the job outlook. Good luck!
