im 14 and wishing to pursue an interior design job?

well basically i have deisgned my own bedroom from scratch and various things on sketchup would this help for the longrun of interior design

1. You're young, and will have to go to college, but take a picture of your room and start your portfoio.
2. Of course it would, anything to get you thinking in the mind of an interior designer will help! Also, read books and magazines on it, research on the internet and, if possible, get work experience! That's the best thing :D write to an interior designer and ask for work experience for a week or so... if they refuse, ask for a day, or even a morning! Beg! And if you're good at it, they may even offer you a job :P
