How much does a typical entry level interior design job pay?

I am a college student working on my two year interior design degree, and I'm just curious about what type of jobs are out there and what the pay rates are for it at the entry level positions. 1. They don't pay much. You'll either get a job where you are paid a low hourly rate, or where you are paid on commission (that's usually in kitchen/bath design). Either option kind of sucks, but I'd rather work for low pay at a company where I can move up than a dead-end commission job. Now what I did was start my own business. I started with little jobs, moved into some little restaurant designs...and then used my skills to flip houses. See if you can't find your niche and then go for it!
