  1. Like any career, it can be if you're good, and people talk about your work. At the very least, it's a good living. "Successful" can be in the eye of the beholder. If you're paying all your bills, and you hum while you work, I would call that success. If you love it, do it. Being happy in your work is its own reward.
  2. I would say a definite YES! I have people all the time asking us at the nursery if we do landscaping, I have turned several people and businesses away because we sell the plants and don't do landscaping at this time. It's alot easier to learn something you enjoy also. Good luck!
  3. I see a lot of my friends who have changed their careers one or more times because they hadn't figured what was the right profession for them or what makes them happy. I know one person who has jumped between at least 4 different jobs that supposedly make a lot of money. To her success is how big her bank account gets and how many things she has. I suppose you have to figure what success will mean to you. I am happy when my designs are built and people have heated discussions on how good or bad it is. That and the respect of my collegues and enough money to get by are all I need for career success. I am sure other people need more or less. The hard part is figuring it out as it is usually hidden to your own self if you haven't thought about it. Good luck.
