design ideas for white, blue room?

okay, so recently i saw a home makeover show, and one room was painted white, and it looked like 3 big stripes were painted on the walls going to crazy directions. i would love to do that to my room, but im not sure what it looked like.. any suggestions on what i should do?

The paint stores, or departments in BigBox home improvement stores have some tape you put on the wall in order to paint stripes or mask off something and you could put some up on the wall in crazy directions or zig-zags and get a rough idea of what looks like what you saw. Then, remember, unless you use something like bright red, you can always paint over it. It isn't that hard to use the roller. It is easier to cover light colors and darken them than to make a dark color lighter so take a chance. Have fun.
