ya think an interior designer would like a draftsperson?
Do you think that interior designers would be interested in someone who could create layouts and 3d presentations to clients? If so, as a computer drafter.. how could I approach someone with a freelance work-from-home style proposal? Thanks ahead of time for your answers to this question! : ) : )

- You should put together a portfolio of your work and start making sales calls on the designers. Be prepared for a lot of rejection but when you do get a client provide exceptional customer service. You should also attend/join business association meetings or events for networking purposes. Do some research and find relevant organizations or events in your area.
- I think you should approach architectural firm instead of interior designer. why, cause they dont have burget for your drawing & they do know 3d too. However you can try your luck. For architectural they do have more burget, for example before they built a building for client they will propose a model & 3d perspective drawing. pay ard $800 - few thousand per 3d drawing. Some firm do have inhouse but small firm most likely will sub out the drawing project. Or you can also try exhibition company they also sub out the drawing to freelances. pay ard 200-300 per 3d drawing. Call them or use directory to find their email address, intro your service to them with your porfolio attached. You can also put your porfolio on website. Hope this help. gd luck! :http://www.apple3sg.com/startup.html
