How much money do architects make yearly?

I was wondering how much money do architects make, for like buildings and houses, and if it depends on where you live, say Los Angeles, California.

The middle 50 percent earned between $46,690 and $79,230. The lowest 10 percent earned less than $38,060, and the highest 10 percent earned more than $99,800. Those just starting their internships can expect to earn considerably less. Earnings of partners in established architectural firms may fluctuate because of changing business conditions.
