Jack Morton, GES, or a small custom exhibit house? Who do you go to get international event marketing support.

And why? What are the big differences in these companies? I guess I should throw in GPJ, Freeman, Nth Degree in the mix too. Is it more important to have brand and strategy planning or logistical support and country knowledge in looking for a partner in an overseas event. Should I source in-country?

1. It depends on what kind of support you want. If you go with a larger, national company, you will not get the one-on-one support that some prefer. They are large companies with many clients and you will not get that attention that you would with a smaller exhibit house. The exhibit house that we use has helped us with international shows as they have contacts overseas. People that they trust and work with on a regular basis. So when you call you have the manager who handles your account and also handles a smaller volume of clients so they are always readily available. Sometimes there is a cost benefit to using the official show decorator, which is your GES or Freeman. It just depends what you like!
