Ideas for organization in a small living space?

My friend and I just moved into a small, quarky house build in the 30s. It has kind of a wierd floor plan but and almost every room is cramped. We have very little cupboard space for example and it's hard to even turn around in the bath room. Everyone knows that Ikea is a good place for small living quarters but, it there anywhere else I can go to get ideas? Is there a website or forum that focuses on these issues?
