What new features would you like to see in World of Warcraft?
Hello! I play World of Warcraft a lot and was wondering if any of you had any ideas of cool new features you would like to see added. I have a few. The first would be have a new race/class unlocked when you reach the maximum level so there is even more incentive to get there. I also want player housing (which I heard they are planning on adding later on in the future) and multiple hearthstone where you could set them to come to a certain grinding area or trainer. For the new race I think they should be something fun such as a centaur or murlock race. What do you think?

- Personally I'd like to see that transfer system done away with permanently....or at least jack up the price a lot more. It's hardly fair for a server to be up for four months, native guilds are getting moving, life is fun, and BOOM...three Tier 2/3 transfer guilds come in and destroy everything in their path. Server firsts should belong to the native guilds, not the transfers. If you want to leave the server so badly, I believe you should have to reroll and start over. You can't have all these guilds coming in a destroying native guilds just because they want to be "big boys" on a new server. It's really sad... I'd also like to see that world chat done away with. They should have a system that allows you to enter specific channels when looking for a group for specific areas to spare everyone else. I don't know...it just seems like when I began playing WoW it was fun...then after all the tweaking...its just not the same.
- I have too many ideas to be written in this space. However, I will highlight *some* of the things I would like improved. 1. Players should be able to buy a faster flight service for a more expensive price. 2. Remove Will of the Forsaken. If not, let them be vulnerable to exorcism or shackle! 3. Mounted players could attack but will be very limited. Imagine swiping off a noobie's head whilst you whoosh past from behind, just like in the movies! 4. City and town npc guards should be linked in small groups like in some instances. This makes them more realistic and gives players, especially noobs, a sense of safety. 5. A larger spawn area near the corpse to prevent over-camping of dead players. 6. Improved animation and/or graphics. Lack of tone, contrast and colour makes the game less realistic (although I do acknowledge that visual realism isn't what WoW is about); and lack in some creative animation of some race/gender makes it very dull and repetitive to look at and the feel is lost. 7. Should be a separate chat area along with the trade window like in most mmorpgs. 8. Npc classes should be more varied. Over 80% of every npc from guards to tigers to undeads all are "warriors". Would be nice to have archers up on town outposts shooting at enemies - like in AV, but maybe not as long range as that. 9. A new system to stop ninja-ing. 10. Abolish dis-honouring in pvp. Just make civilians friendly targets. 11. We can temporarily (a few hours or days?) enchance our town guards, by donation of items like in BGs. Notice I have many npc improvement suggestions because nowadays on my server everyone seems to be 60 if not epic 60 npcs are almost useless against a small raid group. 12. A more user-friendly chatting area. Everything seems to be in one small window! Ok I stop here...
- One thing I would love would be if the characters appearance could be slightly modified as you level. I don't want something radical but to add scars, gray hair or such. I just think it would be cool to look like a grizzled veteran at level 60 as opposed to the fresh-faced rookie at level 6. If they could improve the reliability of their World Events so that large scale combat would not result in server crashes. I would have loved to be involved in the War against the Ahn-Quiraj but the Gates Opening caused such problems that it wasn't even worth it to try. I don't know if this would be an actual improvement but I would love if they would put the "Looking For Group" channel back to being local. One of the earlier patches changed it to a global channel which means that you receive messages from anyone, anywhere in the world. This works for my level 60 but my lower level alts cannot find groups since the channel is clogged with UBRS groups trying to get started. Maybe if they broke it into two separate channels, one local "Looking For Group" channel for the lower level quests and one global "Looking For Raids" channel for the higher levels looking for end-game groups Plus I do agree, an attack capability from your mount would be cool. Gives you a "Calvary Charge" option when you get a number of high levels together.
