What is the commonly used version of Autocad today?

What is the commonly used version of Autocad today? Can someone give me a list of CAD softwares that are commonly used in architectural designing?

Many architects use the original AutoCAD programs like Architectural Desktop, many other use Revit Architecture. Many mechanical engineers, who deal exclusively in 3D, use programs like Unigraphics, Solidworks, and ProE. Companies that both design and manufacture products use programs that can do both, like CATIA.
