Does a speed of 11,000 kbps good for gaming?

Well, before we move to this house, we have a router that is connected directly (with wires) to my computer. My average speed on online speed test (speakeasy.net;speedtest.net) was 22,000 kbps and it was smooth on online gaming. But now, because of the architectural design of this weird house, I need to be connected to the router wirelessly which now gives me an average speed (on the online speed test) of 11,000 kbps. Half of what i used to have. My question is, is 11,000 kbps enough for gaming?
