Would I need a landscape permit to install a new landscape design on a commercial property?
The construction company I am working with already has a permit to work on the property and all I am doing is beautifying the property by adding flowers, ornamental trees, planters and grass. I have to provide my bid and I want to make sure I have all my ducks in a row. Does anyone have any info on this, or know where I could find info on this?

- It depends on where you live. Here in New Orleans you do not need another permit, only what the company you are subbing from wants from you, eg. insurance, workers comp.
- It depends upon the jurisdiction. Typically, if you aren't moving earth and reshaping the landscape with berms, ponds, fences, etc., no permit is required. Check the website of your town or county and see what you can find. My guess is that a permit is not necessary.
