"Doghouses" on a House . . .?

The house I'm planning on building has the "doghouses" on the top, a picture is below. Is there anyway we could put a window in the roof in place of these instead? Or anything other ideas? Also, do you like the house? http://www.eplans.com/image-gallery.hwx/Q/Plan.HWEPL07153/ImageId.238242

1. I like the house but I think you would ruin the look if you changed the original plan.
2. there not called doghouses there called dormers all those dormers look good, bad if you a roofer that doesn't know what hes doing. you can have a big dormer instead of lil' ones that looks good, you can also install sky lights there instead they do have ones with remotes there cool good luck nice house
