Architectural Designs

i have played electric guitar for some time now, and i think its time for me to build a custom one. any ideas?

i have played alternative rock, metal (metallica mainly), and i think it is time for me build a custom one. does anyone have any ideas on what kind of wood? I was thinking this: body:poplar neck: maple w/ rosewood fingerboard pickups: 1 closed humbucker, 1 open humbucker color: Black with a flourescent green design: i want something orginial. i need someones help with this.
