Your ideal church? All factors included?

If you could design your ideal place of worship where all of your needs and passions were met, as well as the needs of those around you, what would you include? With all factors included, what do you would bring back to life the dying idea of Christianity? Please consider the following- Style of teaching- Tolerance of people who attend- Building design- Community Outreach (charity)- Style of Musical Worship- Main focus or goal (mission of the church)- Finance options for maintaining- Also: Why do you believe the Christian church is dying among new generations? judgement? boredom? non- belief? Please answer as honestly and thoughtfully as you can. I would love to know a way to change the outlook of Christianity. God Bless! and if you don't believe or just aren't sure, why? What has turned you off from the idea of God?

  1. Any place that has no god is all right in my book
  2. A place that actually helps the poor, doesnt just say we'll pray. A place that is lead by the Spirit, not legalistic and dogmatic. A place that treats the poor that attend as good as they treat the "good" tithers. A place where everyone can worship in their own way without judgement, from the more outgoing to the more reserved and quiet. A place where dirt poor bums can walk in and get a meal and not have everyone staring at them. A place where kids can have mentors that dont judge them that just listen and love them.
  3. The United Methodist Church is the ideal church based on your criteria. I do not believe the Christian church is dying in new generations, only that it is faddish to claim to be a non-believer.
