Are you saying that modern technology could take us on to far greater things, but the lapdog media report imaginary crisis fed to them by greedy conglomerates in order to further increase their wealth,(ie the current alleged credit crisis) and that if it were not for such greed we have the ability to improve the life of everyone on this planet.?
