  2. The most spacious and economically viable shape in architecture is a cuboid (square base) this is because it utilises all available space without becoming wider, and therefore weaker, the further it gets from its foundations.
  3. It all depends upon functional constraints, materials choices or limitations, economical considerations, budget, socio-economic and other environmental considerations. Cuboid, rectangular, hemi-spherical or spherical, pyramidal, Conical, Hexagonal or Octagonal base, Earth quake proof buildings have to be resilient not necessarily very strong. The one who survives, gives in a little like a palm tree near the ocean in the face of a storm.
