doing the HND in architectural design, would this get me anywhere near to designing and developing buildings?
if yes explain your reason. if not then tell me any other courses that would be related or good to do?

- Seriously M, if you want to get close to designing buildings on that kind of scale then HND is the starting route but, you will then need a BSC in engineering and then Masters in another enginerring /construction discipline at least to get to the start of the serious end of building design. For skyscraper design you would have be employed by the likes of Ove Arup, Richard Roger Paternship, Norman Foster etc. This major engineering architects only employ the absolute best, as they can take the pick of the litter. Best of luck, work hard and you will get there. But to answer the question then yes, that is a good starting course
