when a shool offers architectirual design as a major...?

is it the same as the school offering a major in architecture? or is a major in architectural design and a major in architecture two different things?

1. It depends... ... Firstly, you should make sure that the school is an Accredited Architecture School. If it is, then, yes, a major in Architectural Design is the same as a major in Architecture. If this is not an Accredited program, then no, the Architectural Design major will not be the same as a major in Architecture at an Accredited program. Going to an unaccredited program means it will take you twice as long to become a registered Architect in your state. So definitely do your research before deciding!!! Blessings and HTH...
