I have a massive sheet of questions but i just can't work out a few of them. Please help! give each answer in simplest form. ( there is 2 dogs and 6 cats) a.What is the ratio of dogs to cats? b.What is the ratio of cats to dogs? c.What fraction of the animals are cats? d.What fraction of the animals are dogs? -------- share these amounts of money in the ratios given check your answer each time. a. £50 3:7 b. £15 15:10 c. £240 16:8 d. £90 7:2 ------ Mr brick the builder has a plan of a new housing estate. the scale is 1:1000 a. (ratios are easy, if they want dogs to cats, just put the number of dogs in front of the number of cats, you can also put them into fractions) a.2:6 (2/6, or 1/3) I do believe that you can reduce the ratios b.6:2 (6/2, or 3) c.This one, if I remember, you have to take the # of cats, 6, and put that over the total amount of pets, or 8, so that would be (6/8), or (3/4) d. (2/8) or (1/4) sorry, I can't figure out the rest, is there any more info for them?
