What type of wood besides Oak is commonly used in interior finishes in Russia?

I'm working on designing am office of a large company in moscow and I need ideas for solid wood finishing. I know that oaks is common, what other type of wood is used? (I heared something like "burch" but I don't even know what it is in russian. do you guys know?

2. Oak is one of expensive woods for furniture Pinewood or maplewood are cheper onse. Teak or Red wood are the most expensive, i think.
3. Maple and Birch are used in the flats I've stayed in.
