what's the difference between architecture and architectural engineering?
what's the difference? in what they do, how much they make, who gets hired more, best colleges, years to graduate? i like drawing, graphic designing and i like math too (and interested in computers)... which should i take in college? or do you have any recommendations? thanks.

- Architectural engineers focus on the math/engineering aspects of building design (loads, etc.) -- the structural and functional elements. Architects need to understand that but also focus on the artisitic elements of design. Good ones usually make more than the engineers. If you go to a college that has a good school of architecture, they will help you with course selection. If you are in high school, find out whether you can take a CAD class. That's computer-aided drafting--that would be perfect for you.
- Architecturer made building beautiful architectural engineer made building strong Arch. Engg. usually are in 5 years program in most 4 years colleges Arch. Engg needs to take the FE (fundamental engineering exam) in order to become a PE (professional engineer), Architecturer doesn't need to. Arch. Engg made more Do you like Physics, Fluid mechanics, Thermodynamics stuff, HVAC? If you do, go for the engineering degree If you are more interested in graphic side, probably architecturer is a better choice
- architectural does the design of buildings and the architectural engineering is more maths and physics. for example, in architectural you make the draws of a building, but you dont know if your building its going to be stand up, this is the part of the engineering, all relationed with forces, gravity, simple machines... i think you should choice architectural engineering
