Is there and architectural field that doesn't involve too much math?
I want to be an architect or something along the lines of that. I'm a great artist, and especially like creating master plans but also enjoy floorplans and facades. I'm not too good at math and personally its my least favorite subject. Is there a field of architecture where you can create a design but don't do too much math?

- LOL. No. Maybe "Interior Design" or something that is a waste of money like that. You need to have a solid Physics/Geometry background for Architecture.
- having the same problem as u! i rele hope there is a type that doesnt involve math! or maybe hire another person to do the calculations for u
- No. Math is required for calculating angles, resonance, windspeeds and thousands of other variables that need to be understood in creating any structure. You might want to consider a career in graphic design.
- How much is too much? Sorry but no math = no job.
- don't be scared of math. math is everyone's least favourite subject (cept for a few freaks)... i promise that with practical application like in architecture it becomes much easier to understand and master. just persevere and you will make a great architect.
- I'm getting my masters degree in structural engineering at the moment, and I can asure you that there is no field of architecture that doesn't require mathematics (especially geometry).
- The heavy duty math of architecture is relegated to structural and mechanical engineers. However as an architect you still need to know the basics. The more you math that you do the better you become at it. I wouldn't let your displeasure of math to become a detriment to your desire to practice architecture.
