Architectural Designs

can anyone name building or architectural companies that focus on 'green' or out of the ordinary homes?

i am interested in the design of property such as layout and style, but more so, sustainable buildings and 'different' styles of homes. kind of like grand designs. unique homes but in the main 'green' homes in the way they are designed/ operate etc. i am looking for some names of companies that are in this kind of sector?? and also, what would you class this kind of sector ( designing sustainable and unique 'green' homes? many thanks xx
