where can i find the architectural floor plan of a large house in montreal?

i need an accurate (if possible up to date) floor plan of a house in montreal so i can design a house based on wall thicknesses etc.. any information would help thanks

1. it's common for the city to hold on to blueprints, best bet would be to contact them. another option is to find the arch. and see if the plans are archived.
2. You can buy blueprints on the Web, granted they aren't cheap. Or you could call your local building authority and find out what the regulations are for your area. There may even be copies in the library.
