Architectural Designs

Does software/hardware exist for architectural designers, to view and measure large blueprints on huge screens?

I am an estimator for an architectural design firm. I wanted to know if the technology exists yet, hardware/software wise, for someone to view and edit large blueprints on huge computer screens. Screens that operate similar to an iPhone with touch, and maybe the use of a stylus. Prints that could be viewed on the screen in full size 42", and even put a ruler right up to the screen to measure cabinet lengths and such. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  1. I've seen touchscreen monitor but not that huge. I don't know why you need to measure dimensions through ruler but some software like autocad have a function that can show the measurement of each line.
