Can anyone give me an estimate on how much building a house costs?

Husband and I are looking into having a home built through a company that already has floor plans for like split level and ranch style homes. Similar to modulars homes. Can anyone give me an idea on how much a home like this would cost about 1400 sq. ft and in the state of PA.

2. Are you building it yourselves. or paying someone to build it for you? The land under a house is typically about 10% of a home's total cost, so it'll cost you 10% less than similar houses of a similar size in the part of PA where you plan to build... (Congratulations on the baby, BTW...)
3. Depends on what quality level you get in the house. According to B4uBuild.com, the price of a new house can vary between $80 and $200 a square foot. So, using this data, your house will cost between $120,000 and $280,000.
