what are good colleges for architecture?

What are some good colleges for architecture? Such a cal poly. I prefer private collages also, and a little smaller ones. But my main focus is the ones with good architectural design. Also I would love some that are located in the New York area! Thanks

1. 1 really good college to go to which is the best in engineering is Olin University in needham; boston, massachusetts
2. It depends on what area of Architecture you are going into, eg. design or engineering. I was going into Architectural Engineering a few years ago before I switched majors, and every one of my professors told me that Kansas State University (Manhattan, KS) has the best Architectural Design program. However, for engineering they recommended I look into MIT or Washington University in St. Louis. Below is the link to K-State's website Hope that helps!
3. Cornell Architecture may be one of the best in the state. Really tough to get in. Look into NYU, Columbia and all the SUNY and CUNY schools.
