Can you make a good salary by doing a job in interior design?

I know I am only in the 10th grade, but I'm starting to really enjoy interior design and keeping it in mind as a career option in the future. Though my dad thinks that it wouldn't be a job to live on. I really am interested in it and I would like to prove to my dad that it can be something I can do for my future. Also, do you know any good interior design colleges? Thanks so much! :]

you can make great money but only if you have a stong business mind. everything in life takes work and effort and you must build a reputation and market yourself well. do what you love and your money will grow - but only if you work at it. Good luck!
Interior design is a fascinating field. I know you're just starting to think about it, but it might be helpful to start thinking about narrowing your interests. Are you interested in the interior designing of homes, offices, etc? There's a lot of topics within office interior design that are interesting, specifically relating to worker productivity and mood.
