Any good building designs for the Lego Mindstorms NXT set?

I suck at building... I wanna program it though. So anyone know any designs? I want something cute. It has to have a face! Or do you think I should start by following the instructions that come with it...?

1. Definitely start with the instructions that came with it. They're fairly easy to follow, they do cool things and the programming is straightforward. I bought my ten year old son a Mindstorms NXT set for Christmas. We started by doing the included models and had a great time of it. The one we didn't do yet is the one model that has a face. Since you want a face, you could start with that model. You can read about what some of the other models do on my son's LEGO Mindstorms NXT review site. btw, it's not up on my son's site as of the posting of this answer, but we're going to start putting up diagrams, pics and videos of NXT models we're building. The first is going to be a robot we built that turns off the light when you clap your hands.
