- walls are a good idea and a door to get in and out.
- well i would start with all the supplies you would need for your business, then a desk and chair, a shredder, a filing cabinet or two. depending on your space, make it functional and practical. Add a color to the walls that will not distract you or make you sleepy. Make sure it has a window for days that you need to let your creativeness flow. dont' for get the all in one printer and fax, and the phone line and internet.
- try getting ideas from here http://www.hgtv.com/search/results.do?hgSearchString=home+office&hgSearchType=HGTV.com
- Desk, Office Supplies, Computer, Reading Lamp (or good lighting at least),Phone, Fax Machine, Paper, calculator, printer, organized, file cabinet and some color on your walls to make it a little more cozy especially since you're lucky enough to work at home! Here's a virtual room designer to give you some good ideas! http://www.findanyfloor.com/VirtualRoomDesigner.xhtml Hope this helps! Good luck!
- You might want to check out the elfa site. It would instantly provide you with storage and even desk space. Not enough money for elfa? Maybe you could just get a big desk and bookshelves..You could also get a mini fridge, file cabinets, both of which you could buy magnets for if you wanted. You might also need a whiteboard and/or a chalkboard. A bulletin board too. If you like the chalkboard idea, try out chalkboard paint! If you would like to have a theme for the room, how about oranges and browns, and a coffee theme? Orange I've heard is supposed to increase focus. And coffee is supposed to increase energy. haha plus this theme could go good for a guy or a girl. I assume you are a guy though. maybe use coffee mugs, cans to store things on shelves or pencils. Anyway, if you like my coffee themed idea, check out the link below. Hope you liked my idea! :)
