  1. •Need cash? Are you a teen, mom, or somebody out of work? Why not take easy yes/no surveys online for extra money? Simple/legit. NOT A SCAM! Free. •http://free-online-jobs.we.bs/
  2. You could get a loan from the Small Business Association, which gaurantees 90% of loan applications under the Obama stimulus. prolly a 50k or less loan. let me know how it goes.
  3. First, take a look at the following government websites: www.irs.gov They have a great section for starting a small business. Also is the City of Chicago website found at www.cityofchicago.org Click on the link for employers and then for starting a small business. Even if this isn't your town they have a great section with step by step instructions. An interior design business might require a special license or permit from your state. Take a look at your Secretary of State's website and they should have a list of businesses that require permits. As for marketing your business, well that is completely up to you. The more time you spend with your business the more you will get out of it. The best advice that we give to new companies such as yourself is to market by word of mouth and referrals from people you know.
  4. You don't say which country in Europe you've moved to but if it's the UK then you can get loads of info on starting up your own business from this government run website including where to get grants should you be eligible. http://businesslink.gov.uk Assuming you want to work for yourself you should have a portfolio of past work and it's just a matter of researching the market and bidding for jobs. If you want to work for someone else then yes recruitment agencies would be a good start or look on the web for the sort of companies you want to work for and apply to them, you would need the portfolio for that as well. As far as Europe itself goes there are no trade barriers between member states so across border goods and services are relatively easy to do, if you were to target say the expatriate communities in all member countries. There may well be many Americans living in Europe who want a taste of home. For instance you may have some success with American Forces personnel who are over this side of the Atlantic, Embassy staff and Executives of American companies who are living over here as part of their jobs. You could also try American companies to see if you could do their offices. Good Luck!
