interior design: furniture placement help.?

Please help me design this formal living room. What type of furniture/style to use and it placement. 1. Float a sofa to face the fireplace that appears to have a wall outlet over it for a flat screen. Add a chair and ottoman to the right of the sofa as you look at the back of the sofa. Place a sofa table behind the sofa so you are not staring at the sofa back. The long wall to the left can feature either a long table or decorative casings to feature art pieces. A cocktail table or large ottoman in front of the sofa and a small lamp table by the chair should do it. Do not block the windows. They are a beautiful feature of the room. Be careful of the size of the furniture pieces. Anything too big or bulky will detract from the room and its space.
