how can i show the architectural side of a power plant?

I’m an architecture student and we are task to design an industrial building that is green (sustainable building), what comes to my mind is a solar power plant, but I don’t know how I’m going to start, I don’t know the space program for a power plant and I think designing an industrial building is more of engineering and does not show more of the architectural side...Still don’t have an idea how to start and how can I show the architectural side of it….hope you can help me..
