How can you find your house floor plans?

I want my house floor plans that was built in 1984. I don't know who built it.

1. go to the your county offices....they had to file plans with the county before they built your house...
2. Go to your City Hall. Usually the Public Works Department will have the plans of your house on file. They were the ones who had to issue the original permits--the building permit, plumbing permit, electrical permit, and mechanical permit. They may also have your lot lines, etc.
3. Go to the Permits Office on the City Hall. Sometimes they lost the records of older projects. But I believe they should have the plans of a 20 years house. If you are living in an Urbanization of similar houses try the administrator office or ask a neighborhood. Good luck.
