One of my favorite architectural designs today is none other than the Kubuswoning in Rotterdam, Holland. It's an array of numerous tilted cube houses mounted on a footbridge. Here is a picture of it right here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Rotterdam_Cube_House.jpg I think the architect borrowed the idea from the Ponte Vecchio Bridge in Florence, Italy. Anyway, would you support urban planning that entails building bridges with several houses and/or apartments on it overlooking a river? Imagine a bridge the size of the Brooklyn or Golden Gate Bridge that has a large quantity of residences on there. Would that be prime real estate? Would that help with urban sprawl? Here is a picture of the Ponte Vecchio to give an idea of what I'm describing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Italy_and_Greece_105.jpg Does anyone have any tangible thoughts on this?
