How do you build a safe flamethrower?

I want to build one because it would be fun to shoot, i can't find any designs for one and i want one where you can just screw on new little green propane tanks when it's out of gas. Yes it's legal I don't care at all what you think about it, i'm building one.

1. the one pound propane tanks don't have enough perisher you be lucky to get a two foot flame get a 20 lb tank and a weed torch to make a true flamethrower you need to change Fuel and a pump up sparer who said its legal??
2. No such thing as a safe flamethrower built to have 'fun' with. The little green propane tanks aren't going to have enough volume or pressure to create much a flame - perhaps a good thing in your case. It's only legal until the police come to charge you with arson after starting a fire.
